What customers usually mean by “weed pen”
Most of the time it means a small, pre-filled device you draw from without pressing anything — an all-in-one disposable. Sometimes it means a 510-thread cartridge paired with a rechargeable battery, which is the older and still very common format.
Both hold cannabis oil rather than flower. Neither is the same as a dry herb vaporizer, which heats ground flower and takes different products entirely.
Vape cartridges vs disposables
Cartridges are usually the better value if you vape regularly: you keep one battery, replace only the cart, and you can adjust voltage on most batteries. The trade-off is buying and charging hardware.
Disposables are simpler — nothing to attach, nothing to configure, and often rechargeable so you can finish the oil. The trade-off is that the whole device is finished when the oil is.
Live resin, rosin, and distillate
Distillate is filtered to high potency and carries little native flavor. Live resin keeps the terpenes from fresh-frozen flower, so it tastes closer to the strain it came from. Live rosin is solventless and typically the most expensive.
Potency on the label is not the whole story — many customers prefer a lower-THC live resin to a higher-THC distillate for flavor. Both appear on the Good Grades menu when in stock.
